Setoff Debt Collection

The City of Orangeburg actively participates in the Setoff Debt Collections Program, which is facilitated by the Municipal Association of South Carolina. This program enables the City to address unpaid fees and fines, such as parking tickets and traffic tickets, by reporting them to the South Carolina Department of Revenue. This department then collects the outstanding amounts from any tax refunds owed to the individuals.
