PUBLIC NOTICE

The City of Orangeburg will hold a public meeting on May 15, 2024, at the Orangeburg City Council building, 933 Middleton Street at 1:00pm. The purpose of the meeting is to give an opportunity to become acquainted with a Rural Development project that will incorporate a Community Facilities grant to furnish the new City Hall building and incorporate a Congressional Appropriations grant related to the Civil Rights Museum at Railroad Corner. Citizens will have the opportunity to comment on such items as economic and environmental impacts, service area and alternatives to the project.
